I was searching for a blog based on music. I was more than happy to find your blog. First your reviews and then this audio blog have impressed me.
As one listener has said, "Hello World" has the touch of IR and ARR in it. Well done. Thanks for this wonderful piece of music.

Suresh,
I just heard Hello World. Good attempt. I like the way the Drums grow into the song.

Hi Suresh,

For a first-timer, i would rate this as a really good attempt. IMHO - There seems to be a forceful, wilful, distortion in the tune, much against the gravity of the melody. If you intended to bring such a difference, then the transition should be subtle, if not, then, you will have to work on that.

Once again, where exhibited, the melody seemed very well thought out and haunting ! - keep the good work up !

Hi Madan Mohan,

Thanks a lot for your honest feedback. I do found there is scope for improvement. The reason I stopped without developing much is because, i have been chewing this theme for a long time and I was working with the Fruity Loop for the first time. I didn't even know how to use it, when I started to shape the theme in the software. If i had a good quality soundfonts my composition would have been a lot more different and much more lengthy, i couldn't get the right sounds i had in my mind with this Software. Some of the instruments which i have used was not my choice initially, I had diff choices in my mind, but when my theme is played which has lot of stretched notes, it produced a jarring sound and that is why most of the time i had to replace some of the instrument with some other instruments having a bearable and close to what i had in my mind sound. Anyways I always believed that this theme has lot of scope for orchestration and betterment in its entirety. I am planning to do this again some time later, but now, i just want to move on and concentrate on my next piece. Do Keep watching this space.
